Stability
Makotek is a 100% employee-based workforce and all employees are eligible for full insurance benefits and retirement savings plans.  Field technicians earn an hourly wage plus commissions which allows Makotek to maintain stable staffing levels during low volume periods, and to adequately cover rural areas associated with most markets.  Makotek clients can be assured that we have the financial resources to successfully support each new market start-up and to ensure that every market has strong local management.

Training
All new employees are required to satisfactorily complete a comprehensive set of online and practical field training programs before beginning work.   Regular field technician assessments are done by local managers.  Dedicated Operation Support Managers (OSM’s) support new hire training in each new market startup and also provide recurring field technician training and assessments in existing markets.

Innovation
We strive for continuous improvement in our retention and recovery processes by developing more efficient ways for our technicians to perform their work.  Paperless work order management, GPS routing/tracking software and wireless real-time account updates are ways that Makotek continues to improve efficiency to maximize results for our clients.  An example of this innovation is the integration of wireless Workforce Automation software into our field and dispatch operations.

Reporting
We provide daily reporting with account level detail of all work completed. This allows for detailed analysis including results by schedule date, by technician and/or by service area.  Additionally, we provide standard reporting on critical metrics such as save rates, equipment recovery and disconnect by reason. Our reporting is a key tool used to identify areas of opportunity and areas in need of improvement.
